History
The South Texas Chapter of the American College of Surgeons was established on October 16, 1970. We would like to invite you to become a member of one of the most active state chapters. Our mission is to improve quality of care through enhancing surgical education, maintenance of competency, providing a forum for young surgeons and fostering communication with all fellows and to support the goals of the American College of Surgeons It's your membership that will continue to let the Chapter focus on important issues facing South Texas surgeons.
Types of Membership
The following is a list of our current membership categories and its related affordable pricing, with a brief description of each category.
Fellow - $100
Must have met all of the requirements and been formally admitted into Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons.
Associate Fellow - $100
Must be recognized by the American College of Surgeons as an Associate Fellow.
Retired/Senior - $0
Must have been granted retired status by the American College of Surgeons.
Resident - $0
Surgical residents and surgeons in research or surgical fellowship programs who meet the American College of Surgeons requirements for participation.
Medical Student - $0
Medical Students who meet the American College of Surgeons requirements for participation.
